Captain Sandy Yawn Shows Off the Crew’s Cabins & She Has *A Lot* of Questions (VIDEO)

The Below Deck Mediterranean boss has some thoughts about the crew’s cabins of the Mustique — and she’s making it known.

Captain Sandy Yawn does not take much lightly. The Below Deck Mediterranean boss leads a very tight ship — from making sure her crew is in line, to ensuring they give their charter guests the best service possible. But when it comes to the crew’s cabins aboard the Mustique, that is a very different story.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck Mediterranean on Mondays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

While everything might be put together on deck, things are just a tiny bit messier below deck. Captain Sandy took to the crew’s cabins in an exclusive video from Below Deck Med Season 9 (check it out above), where she had a lot of questions for her crew members, including: “What are you reading?” and “What can’t you leave home without?”

Here’s what we learned!

Inside Aesha Scott and Gael Cameron’s Cabin

When Sandy checked in on Chief Stew Aesha Scott and deckhand Gael Cameron’s cabin, she was pleased with what she found — Aesha’s rose water spray to give her face a refresh, Gael’s “flippers” for swimming, and super cozy sheets in Aesha’s top bunk.

Perhaps the best thing about Aesha and Gael’s cabin was how tidy it was, even though she did end up rating it a “seven.”

“I hate mess,” Aesha told Sandy.

Sandy was, however, pleased with second stew Elena “Ellie” Dubaich and new stew Carrie O’Neal’s cabin, featuring two impeccably made beds, drawers filled with neatly folded clothes, and a cleaner bathroom than Aesha and Gael’s. Aesha, however, had a problem with her second stew showing her up after she had a few more seconds to do a quick clean.

“This whole thing is a lie,” Aesha jokingly told Sandy.

Johnathan Shillingford’s and Bri Muller’s Cabin Comes with Special Perks

Chef Johnathan Shillingford and third stew Bri Muller’s cabin featured plenty of room for him to extend his legs on the bottom bunk to speak to the “person above.” Their cabin is also home to Jono’s haircutting equipment, which earned his cabin a ranking a 9.5 from Sandy and Aesha. “Oh, you cut your hair?” Sandy asked him.

“I also cut everyone else’s — I’m the boys’ hairdresser,” Jono revealed.

Inside Joe Bradley and Nathan Gallagher’s shoe & bottle filled cabin

Sandy wasn’t even too surprised when she found empty bottles in lead deckhand Joe Bradley and deckhand Nathan Gallagher’s cabin. But she was just a little upset to find Nathan’s “1-10 electric” set up placed directly next to a bottle of water, which made Joe and Nathan break out in giggles.

Although Sandy, who rated their cabin a “zero” didn’t have too many questions for the pair, Aesha definitely did.

“What is f-cking wrong with you?!” the Chief Stew asked the crew members.

Details on Iain Maclean’s Workout-centric Cabin

Finally, Sandy paid a visit to bosun Iain Maclean’s cabin, which is equipped with everything to keep him in shape — from “swimming stuff” to a “skipping rope.” “I do lots of foot movements and stuff,” he told Sandy and Aesha.

“More to just like, get a really good sweat in,” he added.

“He’s a minimalist,” Sandy noted. “So am I.”

Captain Sandy spills about her cabin on the Mustique

After going around to check out all the rooms, Captain Sandy wouldn’t give Aesha a look inside her own cabin.

“Mine’s a 25,” she concluded.
