Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Gary King has been banking on having viewer support amid some genuinely bad behavior, but fans may not tune in for the upcoming season of BDSY because of him. Gary has been a longtime member of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht team, having appeared on the series as First Officer since its second season. Working closely with Captain Glenn Shephard, Gary has been working well with the team professionally, but from a personal standpoint, things haven’t always been easy. Allegations lodged against Gary by a Below Deck franchise makeup artist detailing sexually aggressive behavior came to light after the reunion for the last season of the series, making it clear Gary was overstepping his boundaries. While Gary has vehemently denied the allegations, viewers have claimed they’re not interested in seeing him on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 due to his potentially dangerous behavior not being taken seriously.
