Blue Bloods star Abigail Hawk warns fans that there will be tears as the Reagans say goodbye after 14 seasons — but will there be closure?

“I cried when I read the last episode,” Hawk, who plays Abigail Baker, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting the second half of season 14, which begins on Friday, October 18.

The actress, 42, confirmed that viewers will get closure with the Reagan family story lines, teasing, “There is sadness, there is joy and it is all wrapped up in the same beautiful final moments.”

Hawk insisted, “There will be satisfaction” for fans of Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) and his loved ones.

Blue Bloods premiered in 2010, focusing on Frank, his pop, former police commissioner Henry Reagan (Lou Cariou), and his three living children: Detective Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), Assistant District Attorney Erin (Bridget Moynahan) and police officer Jamie (Will Estes). The fourth Reagan child, Joe, died in the line of duty.

The first half of the final season concluded in May, with eight episodes left before the series finale this December.

Looking ahead, Hawk told Us that “Erin has the most surprising conclusion” when it comes to the Reagan core unit.

“I’m a little scared of Bridget,” Hawk teased of the actress who plays Erin, noting she doesn’t want to get in trouble for spoiling anything. “I love her so much, but I also have a healthy respect for that woman.”

Hawk has played Frank’s trusted aide, Baker, since season 1, but when asked to pick her favorite Reagan, she told Us since he’s the “easy answer,” she was going to switch it up.

“I’m too close to Frank. He’s too much in the fire,” she explained. “I think my favorite Reagan is actually Henry.”

She called the family patriarch the “steady hand” for the group. “Henry is the random dirty joke that slips in there unexpectedly,” Hawk said with a laugh. “Like when we find out that he and [his late wife] Betty spent time at a nudist colony. That was one of my most favorite episodes. And no one could have delivered it the way that Len Carious delivered it. It was just so perfect.”

While Hawk’s character is a fan favorite as well, the actress told Us she never made the cut for the Reagan family dinners — but there will be a few more iconic Sunday meals before the series concludes.

“I’m gonna rip the Band-Aid off and [confess] I’m super pissed about it and it’s fine,” Hawk playfully revealed, joking it’s “so rude.”

Hawk pointed out that Frank’s right-hand Garrett Moore (Gregory Jbara) “got to go” to the coveted meal, but Baker and Sid Gormley (Robert Clohessy) were left out.

Since Baker doesn’t get to dine with everyone, Hawk images her “in the room sad, washing the dishes with Sid Gormley and he’s broken half of them and I’m over there going, ‘God, we have to clean this up before they come in here!’”

Despite the dinner snub, Hawk told Us that it’s been a “beautiful, wonderful” ride getting to be on Blue Bloods.

“The Reagans are just people who understand that family is everything and that no matter what’s going on, you still have to eat,” she added, giving one last tease that everything will come “full circle” and be “ordinary and true” before they sign off for good.

Part 2 of Blue Bloods season 14 begins on CBS Friday, October 18, at 10 p.m. ET.
