The preview for the final episode of ‘Below Deck’ shows serious contempt between Aesha Scott and Elena Dubaich
In the preview for the season finale of Below Deck Mediterranean, there is some serious shade being thrown between Aesha Scott and Elena Dubaich. To Aesha, it seems like Ellie is stepping on her toes. However, Ellie sees things from a completely different perspective. Keep reading to see what was revealed in the preview clip.
Aesha Scott Calls Ellie Out For Overstepping
Chief Stew Aesha Scott is not enjoying the way that Elena (Ellie) Dubaich is overstepping in her role on the yacht. It seems like Ellie is trying to step into the role of Chief Stew when she’s actually second in command.
The season finale preview shows Ellie delegating tasks to another crew member, Carrie O’Neill when Aesha just gave a contradicting direction. Then, when Aesha confronted her about her actions, Ellie acted like she was shocked.
As the guests were having dinner, Aesha approached Ellie about her behavior. Although it is an uncomfortable conversation to have, the Below Deck star wanted to get everything out in the open.
“I just wanted to have a word with you. I feel like you have been overstepping. There’s been a couple of times where I’ve directed the girls to do something and then you’ll be like, ‘Carrie can you do this? Bri can you do this?’” Aesha told Ellie.
During their conversation, Ellie kept all of her responses short and denied that she did anything wrong. Throughout the season, it seems like Ellie has been focused on her ultimate goal of becoming Chief Stew that she’s lost sight of her current job.
Explaining her role, Aesha said, “The job of the second is to delegate when I’m not around. But if I’m on the floor, you’re not delegating. Tonight, at dinner, like in what world would you be talking with the chef over me?”
Below Deck Finale Shows Confrontation Between Aesha & Ellie
In a confessional, the Below Deck Chief Stew was surprised by the interaction with Ellie. More than that, she didn’t feel like anything was resolved after the exchange was over.
“I feel like Ellie’s gaslighting me in a way. She’s standing their acting like she’s so unaware,” Aehsa told cameras. “She’s so calculated. I feel like I never know what Ellie is feeling.”
In a separate confessional, Ellie opened up to producers. She said, “At this point, everything I do is wrong.” Ellie went on to explain her actions, stating that she was just trying to show Aesha that she could be a leader.
“I’m just trying to prove to my boss that I can do this job. How is she supposed to write a reference saying I could be a good chief stew, if she’s never seen any leadership skills from me?” she told producers.
