Hannah Ferrier Made *This* Lavish Purchase After Her Below Deck Med Exit: “Funny Story”
The former chief stew revealed she spent all her tip money on an impulsive purchase at the airport.
Conservative spending habits are just one of the many responses to exiting a job. But that definitely wasn’t the case for Hannah Ferrier.
As pointed out by RealityTea, the Aussie native recently shed more light on the events that followed her Below Deck Mediterranean departure in 2020’s Season 5. Hannah shared an amusing anecdote while responding to a viral X post about luxury boutiques inside airports.
Hannah reveals she splurged on a Rolex after Below Deck Med exit
“Who exactly are airport shops for?” read the post, which included a photo of Balenciaga, Prada, and Bottega Veneta storefronts. “Like imagine going oops, forgot to grab a Prada bag and a Rolex that I totally need for my flight.”
Hannah reshared the post in an Instagram Story and admitted she had visited one of those airport shops after she was dismissed from The Wellington crew in Season 5, Episode 12.
“ME. So funny story,” she began, noting after she left Below Deck, “I had a stop over in Germany on my way home and I new in my heart that I was never going to work on yachts again so I took all my tip money into Rolex and bought one in cash.”
Hannah didn’t reveal how much money she dropped on the lavish timepiece, but according to Luxury Bazaar, the average Rolex price in 2020 was nearly $16,000.

“I saw Hannah the other night and we had a great conversation,” Captain Sandy said on the Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel radio show. “We had a great conversation. I went to her house and I met her baby, her husband… A lot of people think [I don’t like her]. But I don’t not like anyone. Honestly. I like Hannah. I actually care about Hannah. She knows that. I hope she’s listening because I do care about Hannah.”
