Below Deck’s Daisy lifts lid on how she feels about Colin and Gary two years later

Below Deck Sailing Yacht sensation Daisy Kelliher made a big impression in seasons two and three, thanks to her brilliant sense of humour and top-notch sailing skills. She also hit headlines thanks to a love triangle involving her co-stars Gary King and Colin MacRae.

Daisy’s dating life became complicated when Chief Stew started exploring a romance with Colin only for Gary, who it seems had always fancied Daisy, to stick his oar in.

After season 3 ended, Daisy admitted she had distanced herself from both of her co-stars following a tense time amongst the trio.

Now, Daisy has opened up about how she feels about both Gary and Colin in an exclusive interview with the Mirror and other Reach outlets. She’s also getting ready to appear at the Southampton International Boat Show this September, where she’ll be shaking up some delicious cocktails like a pro.

On her current status with the boys, she revealed: “I mean, it’s weird because it was so impactful at the time, but now it’s been two years since I even dated Colin. So it just feels so far in the distance for me and in the past.”

She added: “At the moment, I wouldn’t say I’m particularly close with them, but we’re certainly not in a bad place either. I think, when you go through a breakup where you go through something like that, it’s important to distance yourself and gain space.

“And then, once all those feelings and stuff are gone… I mean, even the friendship – not just the romantic ones, the friendship – it kind of just dissipates,” she confessed.

“You know, I just don’t really feel anything towards them anymore. Nothing negative, but nothing… You know, there’s no real friendship there either.

“But not because I don’t like them,” she clarified. “It’s just because we’ve moved so far past that.”

Daisy also admitted that maintaining friendships with various co-stars from a few years ago has been challenging due to their geographical locations.

She explained: “The reality is, we live all across the world, and so to upkeep those friendships is very difficult.

“And when you break it down even further, we really only did work together for six weeks, even though during that time it was so intense.

“I think maybe if we lived in the same place, it would be different,” she added.

While Daisy didn’t confirm her participation in season 4 during the chat, she did announce an opportunity for fans to meet her this month.
