Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 aired episode 15, titled, Fourth Stew’s a Charm. The episode saw the season’s infamous love triangle between Joe, Bri, and Ellie turn into a square when Joe expressed interest in Carrie.
The cast went out for drinks at Che, and while Joe was initially dancing with Ellie, he later started dancing with Carrie. This offended Ellie, who said that Joe was only paying attention to women who gave him the “most attention.” She added that no man in his “right mind” would turn down an “incredible night” with her.

After returning to the scene with a new shirt, he approached the new cast member, Carrie, and started dancing with her. Joe’s actions offended Ellie, who went on to call them “disrespectful.” She told Bri that Joe just went to talk to Carrie. In a confessional, she elaborated on how she felt and criticized Joe.
“I’ve had it with Joe, because he’s not even choosing women based on whom he’s attracted to. He just chooses the person that gives him the most attention. Because no man in his right mind would turn down an incredible night with me,” she said.
