Will ‘Blue Bloods’ Return for Season 15? The Fate of Tom Selleck’s Show After Season 14
Will the Reagan family be returning to our TV screens with a new season of Blue Bloods in the new year? Fans are wondering what will happen to the police procedural drama.
Is Blue Bloods Coming Back for Season 15?
It was announced that Blue Bloods would not be retuning for season 15. Season 14, which began airing its final episodes in October 2024, will be the show’s last. Nobody has been more devastated than the cast and crew of the CBS series that its the end of the line.
But up until the very end, a couple of the show’s stars were holding out hope that the series would get picked up by another network.
“Of course, we are sad, but you never know,” cast member Abigail Hawk told Screen Time. “I mean, yes the set is gone, but with the professionals we have in our industry it would take two seconds to rebuild a set like that if it came to that.”
“So there’s still a little teeny bit of a silver needle somewhere in the hope haystack and I’ll hang on to it,” she continued.
Tom was also devastated by the show’s cancellation.
“I think the resolve is there,” Abigail said. “We know that it’s done, but, like Tom Selleck’s memoir, his memoir’s titled You Never Know. And I think that hope can move mountains.
“There’s a void left by our show. And I think that, in time, the higher-ups will come to regret it,” she shared.
